Sparkle actress-singer Angel Guardian was emotional when she sat down for an interview with Nelson Canlas, as she talked about her journey of doing Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre.

Angel bagged the role of Deia, the new keeper of the Air Gem.

During the GMA Integrated News Interviews, the Running Man Philippines season one Ultimate Runner shared what she learned doing this Kapuso mega-serye.

She told Nelson, “Gaya ng sabi mo you see that we all matured and nagpapasalamat ako, kasi, 'yan 'yung nabitbit ko from Encantadia. All the learnings, the wisdom, mas lalo ko minahal 'yung craft ko.”

When it was announced back in October 2023 that Angel will be part of Sang'gre, the actress admitted that she wasn't sure then if show business was meant for her.

“Kasi, even that time hindi ko pa rin talaga alam kung ano 'yung ginagawa ko sa buhay ko. Kung bakit ako nandito, hindi ko po talaga pinangarap ng sobra na mag-artista,” Angel said.

She continued, “Ilang beses ko sinubukan umalis, pero lagi ako hinihila pabalik and ito sobrang laking harang na nito. Sagot na 'to! Ito na 'yung sagot and hindi ko na kailangan mag-doubt. At kung may sasabihin ako sa sarili ko two years ago, siguro 'yung, 'mag-tiwala ka sa sarili mo the way na nagtitiwala sayo 'yung mga tao.'”

Joining Angel in the much-anticipated telefantasya series are Bianca Umali, who will play the role of Sang'gre Terra. Meanwhile, Faith Da Silva and Kelvin Miranda were chosen to portray Flamarra and Adamus in the GMA Prime series.

Primetime viewing will be a lot more magical with the world premiere of Sang'gre happening on June 16, after 24 Oras.
