Angelica Hale just hit a new milestone in her career at 17 years old!
Filipino-American singer-songwriter Angelica Hale has come a long way since finishing as runner-up in the 12th season of America's Got Talent, recently being named one of the coaches for the Broadway Dreams Camp.
Broadway Dreams is a non-profit organization that provides musical theater training and access to Broadway professionals. They train young performers in the art of theater, providing programs to help enhance their skills as artists.
Angelica was a Dreamer (what the camp calls their campers) at age 6 before making her stage debut last year in BOOP! The Musical. Now at 17, she will be taking the stage in a different role, this time as the teacher.
On Instagram, Broadway Dreams was happy to welcome Angelica into their ranks as one of the coaches in their upcoming Europa Park Intensive
“From America's Got Talent to starring on Broadway in Boop, Angelica knows firsthand what it takes, and she's bringing that wisdom to Germany,” Broadway Dreams posted.
Their post included a video of Angelica expressing her excitement over being part of Broadway Dreams as a coach.
“I used to do Broadway Dreams when I was very little, and now, I'm teaching for the first time, which is pretty awesome,” Angelica said.
Angelica shared what lessons the Dreamers will get from her, including the most important one: “How to find your voice and be confident in it.”
“You got to be in the right mindset if you wanna have a good performance,” Angelica said.
