Angeline Quinto shares an update about her struggles with her second pregnancy.
Angeline Quinto is currently in the third trimester of her pregnancy with her second child with husband, Nonrev Daquina.
Just this Friday, July 5, Angeline revealed that she has been diagnosed with gestational diabetes.
The singer-actress talked about it in her latest vlog on YouTube.
She first shared, “Nakausap ko 'yung OB and paliwanag niya 'yung mga naging result ng lab test na ginawa ko…”
Following that, she then opened up about the said diagnosis.
“Nakakalungkot kasi nga mayroon daw akong gestational diabetes. Siguro raw [dahil] sa lifestyle, sa pagkain ko,” she said.
Angeline admitted that her health condition during her pregnancy caused her stress, which made her switch to a more cautious lifestyle.
In fact, she hired a nutritionist to help her be a healthy mom.
According to the Cleveland Clinic, “Gestational diabetes is a type of diabetes that develops in pregnancy when blood sugar levels get too high.”
Meanwhile, the celebrity mom and her non-showbiz partner have a son together named Sylvio.
