Angie Mead King had just announced that their automotive shop in Manila, Car Porn Racing, is closing for good on June 1.
Angie made the announcement in her old Instagram account @hailtothe_king.
Part of her caption reads, “It's with great heartache that I announce this but @carpornracing is going to permanently shut down this year.”
She also thanked all the loyal customers of Car Porn Racing.
Angie said, “Thank you for all the support you have given us at the shop.”

She didn't disclose the reason why they're closing Car Porn Racing permanently, but she assured car enthusiasts that there are still other places they can go to for their car restoration needs.
“We're selling lots of parts soon which I'll be posting here.
“In the mean time for your car restoration and resto mod needs we can still service you at @classicspeedinc.
“Also I have trusted shops to endorse now for our valued clients so don't worry about your babies. #carpornracing #classicspeedinc”
Angie, who used to be known as Ian King before she transitioned, has long been a hardcore car enthusiast and racer.
She basically grew up tinkering with cars like a mad scientist and through the years developed her skills and knowledge in auto modification.
At first, she rented a warehouse to serve as an extension of her garage to service her own cars and office service vehicles.
Eventually, they accommodated friends' cars, and as the news spread quickly to other car enthusiasts, Angie realized that it has a potential to become a self-sustaining business.
Thus, Angie, along with Kim Garcia and Struan Wallace established Car Porn Racing in 2011.
Angie's celebrity friends and fellow car racers and enthusiasts expressed sadness over the news, including Phoemela Barranda, Gaby dela Merced, Marc Nelson, and Jake Cuenca.

Back in June of 2020, Angie also confirmed that they have closed some branches of their famous Victoria Court hotels and motels.
She explained that due to the economic effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, their hotel chains won't be able to produce the “same results” as before.
So, they've decided to close some branches and offer their employees retirement and retrenchment packages.
Angie and her wife Joey Mead King are now residing in their farmhouse at the King Tower Farm, where they seem to be enjoying the farm life and vlogging.
