Anne Curtis was pleased with what her husband, Erwann Heussaff, said about her work as an actress.
Erwann recently went viral after Matteo Guidicelli asked him how he feels whenever Anne is paired with a leading man.
According to Erwann, “Totally fine. When I met Anne, she was already doing all these movies.”
For the well-known food content creator, there is nothing that needs to change about his wife's work.
“She was already doing it when we weren't even dating yet. So, who am I to kind of tell her what to do and change who she is or anything like that? It's like asking me to stop cooking, right? I know, it's kind of different but look at it as part of the job. It is job, right? And that's fine.”
For Anne's part, she said, “Very good! Very good siya sa akin.”
The GMANetwork.com and other entertainment media outlets spoke with the It's Showtime host during the Thanksgiving event for her 29th showbiz anniversary yesterday, June 18.
She shared that she and Erwann have also talked about this.
“I was just so happy, you know, and it's a conversation we've always had. Even when I ask him, 'Do you mind?' He said, 'No, it's fine, this is your job,'” the actress shared.
“So, it's great to be with someone who is open-minded, who understands that this is my job, and supports that—nanonood siya! Ang nagpapa-awkward lang talaga yung mga tumitingin sa kanya kapag merong kissing scene or whatever. Other than that, sobrang siyang chill.”
Anne added that Erwann's personality is one of the reasons they are a perfect match.
“Ganun siya ka- chill. And I need that chill person to my crazy. Kaya kami nagko-complement kasi sobrang magkaiba kami. It works,” she said.

Meanwhile, Anne believes that having a leading man is no longer a big deal for a married actress.
“You know what, dito sa Philippines, super conservative tayo, di ba? Pero because of all these streaming platforms, nakaka-watch na sila ng series from different countries. People are so used to it na. Hindi na siya yung parang, 'Oh my god! May ganitong eksena.' Wala nang ganun kasi napapanood na ng mga tao yung different shows on different platforms,” she explained in the end.
