Antoinette Taus shared that CORA will have a fundraising to support frontliners and families affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
On the info cards she posted on Instagram, Antoinette said CORA's COVID-19 relief ops aims to "provide healthy meals and protective equipment for #COVID19 FRONTLINERS, and distributing Care Packages to Informal Settler FAMILIES (ISFs) whose daily jobs include street sweepers, food vendors, sari-sari store owners, factory workers, tricycle drivers, jeepney drivers. Let's get through this together."
In order to help them, CORA is asking for donations of protective equipment, sanitation goods, cash, food, and vitamins.
Antoinette also mentioned that their organization is closely working with different public offices to make this project possible.
"CORA is working in coordination with the Presidential Commission for the Urban Poor (PCUP), the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and various local government units in order to continue identifying key areas where help is desperately needed for our most vulnerable citizens in Metro Manila."
She added, "Thousands of people are suffering with no food to eat and no homes to stay in, thousands lack proper protection, and are at risk of contracting the lethal Coronavirus disease. Reaching out to those that are able, let's help our brothers and sisters in need! [praying and heart emojis] #TogetherAtHome"
