Antoinette Taus

Antoinette Taus talks about how cooking helped her heal and how food consumption creates an impact on the environment.

Antoinette Taus shared how cooking food changed her life and how it affects the planet.

In an Instagram post, Antoinette said that cooking became a healing therapy for her.

“I haven't cooked this much since I lived in LA, and in a way, it has become my healing therapy to be able to do this for my brother @TomTaus during lockdown. As someone that's always loved vegetables, I am pretty much 80% #PlantBased, or what you would call a “flexitarian”. Haha. ”

Even though she is practicing the flexitarian diet, Antoinette discussed how a pescatarian meal is prepared as it is the meal she featured on her account.

“This though was a #pescatarian day featuring:
- Thai Cold Noodle Salad with some vegetables grown in my balcony
- Thai Spiced Fish Cake with a sweet cucumber salsa (served with rice)

It pretty much describes a person that is primarily plant-based but occasionaly consumes animal products. In my case, I have always been a vegetable lover so becoming more plant-based was a happy effort for me. Everyone's journey is different and perfection should never be the goal, because every effort is always a win-win for your health and the health of the planet. 🌏💚 (Will try to share recipes someday. I don't really measure my ingredients so I'd have to take the time to make that happen soon.🤪) _________________ WAYS TO EAT FOR PEOPLE & THE PLANET: 🥬 Eat more vegetables ♥️ Support local products and produce 🌱 Grow your own favorite herbs and veggies 🥤 Avoid processed foods and produce packaged in single-use plastics 🍲 Cook at home more 🐟 Learn about #SustainableSeafood _________________ #EatForThePlanet #PlantBased #LoveLocal #ClimateAction #Vegan #Vegetarian #Pescatarian #ClimateChange #ActNow #ForPeopleForPlanet #GlobalGoals #SDGs #ForNature #Sustainable #Sustainability #MentalHealthSupport #CookingTherapy #TonisTummy
