After news about her connection with Black Eyed Pilseung producer Rado surfaced last April 23, Apink member Yoon Bomi wrote a heartfelt letter on Apink's fan cafe, addressing her dating life and relationship with the said producer.
Several Korean news sites posted a rough translation of the letter, which focused on her sincere apology to fans who were surprised by the news.
The first part of the letter read: “I guess many of you guys might have been so surprised by the news, and I'm concerned that you might feel hurt. First of all, I want to apologize to Panda (Apink's fandom) who must have been very shocked by this sudden news.”
In order to be transparent and honest to her fans, Yoon Bomi shared a bit of their dating history and how she transformed into a better woman when she met Rado.
“While producing many songs together, we developed feelings for each other then started dating, and have maintained the relationship until now… I feel like I, who used to have many shortcomings when I was younger, have been able to grow into a more mature and healthier person after meeting such a wise and sensible person.”
In the end, Yoon Bomi still wanted to convey her true feelings to fans and thank them for their undying support.
She wrote, “Even at this moment, as I'm writing this letter, I still feel so awkward and worried, but I still deeply respect the heart of every fan and cherish you guys, who always care for me. I will continue to show you good performances with my sincere and positive energy as Yoon Bo-mi. I'm always grateful for your support. I'm sorry and I love you all.”
News about their long-term relationship came from a report by the Korean news outlet Dispatch last April 23.
Shortly after, Yoon Bomi and Rado's agencies confirmed the alleged relationship and asked fans for love and warmth, all the while respecting her privacy.
Yoon Bomi's entertainment agency, Choi Creative Lab, said, “Upon confirmation with Yoon Bomi, she is maintaining a good relationship as reported in the articles. However, as it is the artist's private life, we ask for your understanding in not being able to confirm any other details.”
Highup Entertainment, Rado's entertainment agency, also said the same thing and asked fans to “look upon the two with warmth.”
Aside from being an Apink member, Yoon Bomi is also one of the stars of the hit Korean drama Queen of Tears as Hong Hae-in (Kim Ji-won)'s secretary Na Chae-yeon.
