Patuloy si Apl.de.Ap sa pagiging proud Pinoy sa kaniyang pagpirma ng distribution contract with GMA Music.

Si Apl.de.Ap ay pumirma nitong August 14 sa GMA kasama sina GMA Network Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and EVP and COO of GMA Music Felipe S. Yalong at GMA Music Managing Director Rene Salta.

Ibinahagi ni Apl.de.Ap ang kaniyang gagawing proyekto, kabilang na rito ang mga influential artists na makaka-collab ni Apl.de.Ap. Ayon sa ulat ni Athena Imperial sa 24 Oras, makakasama ni Apl.de.Ap si Bamboo para sa carrier single. Kabilang din sina J. Rey Soul at Datu Khomeini.

Kuwento ng Filipino-American music icon, "It's about the love, my love, for our country. You know, beyond music and performing around the world, I always have our country, our beloved country in the back of my mind on how I can bridge my opportunity back home."

Para kay Apl.de.Ap, sa gitna ng maraming issue na kinakaharap ng bansa, mahalaga ang pagbibigay ng mensahe at tumulong sa kababayan.

"I've seen a lot of baha all over the Philippines, you know. So, you know, that's why it's important for these messages to be out there. To really call to action. I still love our country, and I'd like to help."

Mangunguna rin si Apl.de.Ap. sa iba't ibang environmental activities sa bansa.

Kuwento niya, "I'm really excited about the agricultural program that I'm doing as well. Tree planting through our Philippines, and I think that would help our farmers and families and communities. So beyond music, I'm doing agriculture and different collaborations."
