
The AU Chiefsquad of the Arellano University extended on Thursday their reign in the cheerleading competition of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) to a seventh straight year.
The AU Chiefsquad took home this year's cheerleading trophy after scoring 231 points, allowing them to conclude the competition as seven-peat champions.
The cheer squad's recent win also marks their eighth overall title in the tournament.
Meanwhile, the Altas Perpsquad of the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA clinched second place at the cheerleading competition.
The Letran Cheering Squad of Colegio de San Juan de Letran completed this year's podium finishers, as they bagged third place at the Season 101 cheerleading competition.
The NCAA Season 101 cheerleading competition was held at the Mall of Asia Arena last March 12 and was hosted by Martin Javier, Lexi Gonzales, and Glycel Galpo.
