GMA News pillar Arnold Clavio paid tribute to the late comedian Kim Idol, who passed away on July 13.
The award-winning TV/radio anchor posted a video on Instagram showing the funny moments of the comedian during his guestings in Tonight with Arnold Clavio (TWAC).
Arnold also lauded Kim for choosing to serve his fellow kababayans before his passing, since he worked as a quarantine officer and a frontliner for the Bureau of Quarantine.
Five years ago, Kim Idol revealed that he was diagnosed with brain arteriovenous malformation (AVM), a rare medical condition characterized by a tangle of abnormal blood vessels connecting arteries and veins in the brain, causing disruption of oxygen flow.
Also mourning the death of Kim Idol was Eat Bulaga host Allan K, who penned a heartfelt message to his good friend on Instagram saying, “You were one of the best talents Klownz and Zirkoh have ever had. One of the funniest on and off stage.”
