Award-winning actress-turned-environmentalist Chin Chin Gutierrez is now a full-fledged nun of the Carmelite Order.
In a viral Facebook post, Chin Chin, whose real name is Carminia Loudes Cynthia Arnaldo Gutierrez, is now Sister Lourdes.
Chin Chin is the daughter of biologist Dr. Hermes Gutierrez and Cecilia Arnaldo, a former nun of the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary.
Chin Chin retired in show business in 2010.
She won the Best Actress award in the inaugural Asian Television Awards in 1996. Two years later, she received the Best Supporting Actress trophy from the same body.
