Awra Briguela recently opened up about her mother's cancer diagnosis.
Actress and social media personality Awra Briguela recently shared a deeply personal chapter of his life while recovering from rhinoplasty.
In a vlog titled "Rhinoplasty Journey (Part 1)," Awra unexpectedly received emotional news about his mother's health while documenting his recovery.
In the video, Awra is seen praying, saying, "Lord God, sana maging successful 'yung operation ng mama ko. Sana gumaling din ako nang maayos. Sana sa recovery namin, walang ma-infection. Sana Lord God, maging maayos ang lahat. Sana mag-align ang stars ko at universe."
"Sana walang cancer 'yung mama ko," she added.
Moments later, Awra received a call from his sister, who tearfully informed him that their mother had been diagnosed with breast cancer.
"Okay lang 'yan, patanggal mo na," Awra told her sister, while trying to hold back his tears.
Awra later shared that he felt God had immediately answered the thoughts he expressed in his prayer, despite the heartbreaking news about his mother's health.
In an Instagram post, the social media personality shared a short clip from the vlog, writing, "This video is not for the weak."
"Because imagine praying at exactly 11:11, believing everything will be okay, only to receive the news that changes everything," she wrote.
Previously, Awra was also hospitalized in April after experiencing severe stomach pain and persistent vomiting. He was later diagnosed with acute gastroenteritis.
