Baeby Baste prayer for Papa Sol

Baeby Baste says a short prayer for his father who is a police officer and a frontliner.

Baeby Baste, the youngest host of noontime TV show Eat Bulaga gladly shared to the public that his police officer Papa Sol has recovered from 2019 coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Wednesday, April 22.

His dad was among the declared COVID-19 positive from the police department.

“Back to work na po si Papa Sol. Thank you Lord God. Thank you po sa prayers n'yo dabarkads.

“My papa is a FRONTLINER. We miss you and love you, Pa. #PNPcovidpositive#weHEALasONE,” the young Dabarkad said.

In an exclusive interview with 24 Oras, Baeby Basta shared that he misses his dad so much.

To serve and protect,” he said.

But in order to shrug off the anxiousness, the young host related that he always asks God to shield his frontliner dad from the COVID-19 disease.

Baste has also been gracious with his donations to the Philippine National Police (PNP) workforce.

He's been relentlessly assisting the PNP frontliners with food and medical supplies.
