Barbie Forteza finally fulfilled her dream of working with her idol, Sharon Cuneta.
Kapuso Primetime Princess Barbie Forteza expressed her joy in an Instagram post as she will finally be working on a project with her industry idol, Megastar Sharon Cuneta.
Recently, the streaming platform Prime Video Philippines launched its lineup of upcoming series and films to watch out for this year.
One of these is the highly anticipated collaboration between GMA Network and ABS-CBN for the series Honor Thy Mother, which will star Barbie and Sharon.
Because of this exciting collaboration, Barbie couldn't help but express how happy she is to work with Sharon, whom she described as one of the reasons she entered the field of acting.
“She was the reason why I wanted to become an actress,” Barbie wrote in the caption.
She couldn't contain her emotions as she finally crossed a major milestone off her bucket list.
Sharing a glimpse of her joy on social media, she ended her post with a touching tribute to her idol: “Dreams do come true. Beyond excited to work with you po, Ms. @reallysharoncuneta.”
Sharon also took to Instagram recently, expressing that she is thrilled and eager to team up with Barbie for their upcoming series.
“Honored and excited to be working soon with the lovely Ms. Barbie Forteza @barbaraforteza,” Sharon wrote.
Completing the cast of Honor Thy Mother are seasoned actor John Estrada and versatile star Khalil Ramos. This highly anticipated series joins Prime Video's massive 2026 lineup, alongside Marian Rivera's suspenseful political thriller, Behind Closed Doors.
