Kapuso Primetime Princess Barbie Forteza is in the middle of taping the much-awaited GMA Prime series Pulang Araw.

The big project features the brightest stars of GMA Network like Asia's Multimedia Star Alden Richards and Sparkle actress Sanya Lopez.

This will also serve as a reunion project between Barbie and her on-screen partner, Pambansang Ginoo David Licauco.

In her exclusive chat with "Chika Minute," Barbie stated that she wants to see how David will portray his character in the soap, since she knows that he “improved” a lot as an actor.

She said, “Nakita ko 'yung maturity niya and improvement as an actor. So, I can't wait to see him as Hiroshi kung ano'ng input ang ginawa niya. Anong klaseng character 'yung ginawa niya as Hiroshi.”

In a separate interview, the chinito heartthrob spoke highly of Barbie saying that working with her is such a breeze.

“Barbie [Forteza] is there, so, parang I have this assurance na everything is gonna be okay when I'm with her, kasi parang madali siya katrabaho… And we know each other so well.” David explained.

Barbie attended the 31st Philippine Travel Agencies Association (PTAA) Travel Tour Expo at the SMX Convention Center Manila in Pasay City.

During the event, the award-winning actress can't help but reminisce when she and David traveled to Hong Kong last year for a magazine shoot.

The Kapuso Primetime Princess recalled, “Sobrang saya sabi ko nga, ang laking tulong din kasi kasama ko 'yung Team Barbie so ang dami ko kasama na na-enjoy ang Hong Kong.

“And now I get to talk about my experience, while I was there.”

Meanwhile, David has previously stated that he will be heading to Australia for the Eras Tour of global music icon Taylor Swift.

According to the Kapuso leading man that he will enjoy the musical extravaganza since he is a big fan of the Grammy-award winning singer. “Sobrang excited ako, kasi super fan ako ni Taylor Swift. Kaya, sasayaw [at] kakanta,” he shared.
