Seasoned actress Snooky Serna shared how thankful she is to have worked with the team behind Anak Ni Waray Vs. Anak Ni Biday.

The show recently finished its intensive three-week lock-in taping. The show was forced to suspend its tapings due to the COVID-19 pandemic back in March 2020.

During Anak Ni Waray Vs. Anak Ni Biday's virtual media conference, Snooky expressed how grateful she is to her colleagues.

"I have the tendency to be very shy and withdrawn. Na-feel ko 'yung love and support. I've come to admire everyone na nakasama ko sa trabaho."

Snooky praised the show's leading ladies Barbie Forteza and Kate Valdez and Kapuso actor Migo Adecer for being professional young stars.

"Nakita ko 'yung pagiging independent and mature ni Barbie, na-feel ko rin 'yung humility niya. She doesn't throw her weight around. She's so sweet, she's so mature, very conservative.

"Si Kate, napakalambing din parang si Barbie, nakita ko rin 'yung sporty side ni Kate and for some strange reason natuwa ako na sporty siya, na-engganyo ako. Pag nakikita ko siya parang bumabalik ako sa kabataan ko. I'm also thankful she also trusts me and she reveals her feelings.

"Si Migo super lambing din. They're very professional, they know what they want. I'm thankful that I work with this set of people and I say this with the utmost respect sa kanila."

She also commended actor Jay Manalo, for being a caring gentleman on the set. Snooky said, "Nung natapilok ako, doon ko na-feel 'yung compassion ni Jay [Manalo], hindi pala siya 'yung bad boy. As much as I'm an actress, I'm also a fan.

"May soft side pala itong si Jay."

Snooky also lauded her co-star Dina Bonnevie for her unwavering patience and guidance.

"Si Dina naman yung strength of character and I mean it in the best way, nakita ko rin 'yung understanding niya sa akin. I'm really thankful na siya ang nakasama ko siya sa show."

Anak Ni Waray Vs. Anak Ni Biday's director, Mark SIcat dela Cruz, and senior program manager Camille Hermoso also earned Snooky's respect.

The actress said, "Direk Mark has a big heart. He's so consoling, he has a good heart, he's such a loving person. Everytime na na-fi-feel kong nag-da-doubt ako sa sarili ko, si Direk talaga, lahat samin, very supportive siya. He's so patient. He reminds me of Tito Lino Brocka.

"Si Ms. Camille very patient with everyone. She's such a strong person, may leadership qualities talaga."
