Anak ni Waray vs. Anak ni Biday actress Barbie Forteza has an advanced birthday gift for her number one fan, 80-year-old Nenita Samson.

Nanay Nenita was interviewed by Kapuso reporter Aubrey Carampel on 24 Oras, where she talked about her admiration to the Kapuso Primetime Princess.

According to her, Barbie has been one of her sources of joy after her husband died.

She had watched all of Barbie's shows, attended the now-defunct Sunday Pinasaya's live shows, and even watched her vlogs on YouTube.

During the interview, Aubrey told Nanay Nenita that Barbie has been with them during the virtual interview all along.

Surprised and ecstatic, Nanay Nenita said, “Barbie is that you? Natatandaan mo pa ako? Nanay Nenita ang tawag mo sa 'kin.”

To which Barbie replied: “Oo naman 'Nay.”

“Nung huli kitang nakita I even went to Novaliches [or] Fairview, 'yung kanilang show na Anak ni Waray vs Anak ni Biday,” she added.

The three then talked about Nanay Nenita's 80th birthday.

The 80-year-old said that instead of throwing a party last February 5, she decided to donate to Smile Train, a charity organization that helps children born with cleft lip/palate.

Barbie serves as one of its ambassadors.

“Instead of spending 'yung pera sa party, gusto ko dun na lang ibigay sa mga bata through you. Bukal na bukal sa puso ko,” she said.

After hearing this, Barbie is just thankful that through her craft, she was able to help and inspire others.

“Sobrang nakaka-overwhelm at nakakataba ng puso dahil hindi ko lubos akalain na dahil sa ginagawa ko, nakaka-inspire din pala ako na hindi lang bata, pati bagets at heart,” she said.
