Content creator and podcaster Baus Rufo happily returns to GMA's morning show Unang Hirit.
The The People Have Spoken celebri-peep greeted viewers—this time correctly—as a special UH hostmate.
"Hello, mga Kapuso!" Baus said, earning smiles from the UH Barkada.
"Wala pa po kasi akong tulog dahil buong gabi po ako nagpa-practice ng 'Kapuso, Kapuso, Kapuso, Kapuso'," he added jokingly.
"It rolls off your tongue really easily," Lyn Ching praised.
"It finally has," Baus quipped.
On a lighter note, Baus expressed his gratitude for being invited back to the morning show following his viral on-air blunder.
"Ang saya-saya. Ganito pala mabigyan ng pangalawang pagkakataon," he shared. "Hindi pa naman tayo napri-principal's office, pero mahaba pa ang umaga. Abangan natin, mga Kapuso."
Later in the program, Baus revealed that it was his first time appearing live on television when he made the mistake. He also couldn't help but laugh about the now-viral "huling hirit" joke circulating online.
"I think talagang na-realize ko na live talaga siya. Live na live at inenjoy ko lang. No room for error. Buti na lang nandoon si Jusa para ako ay i-comfort. Everything happens for a reason, ika nga, mga Kapuso," he said.
As a special UH hostmate, Baus gamely co-hosted several segments with the UH Barkada.
He also received a warm welcome from the program, along with an exclusive gift, a personalized jacket!
Baus became a trending topic online after a hosting slip-up during a previous episode of the morning show.
While hosting a segment with Joy Barcoma, the Dogshow Divas podcaster greeted viewers with "Mga Kapamilya" instead of "Mga Kapuso" during the live Unang Hirit broadcast.
On his social media post, Baus jokingly commented on his hosting blunder: "Naging Huling Hirit na nga."
He also quipped, "Salamat Unang Hirit willing po ako to work overtime without pay at mag choreograph ng Christmas party number for free."
Since then, netizens have poked fun at the mistake, including Baus himself.
Aside from Unang Hirit, Baus is also one of the opinionated and entertaining celebri-peeps in GMA Comedy's game show, The People Have Spoken.
