The pageant is over, and the country now has a new Miss Universe Philippines representative: Bea Millan-Windorski.

Bea won thanks to her response to the question: “Many Filipinos are getting frustrated with the country. For you, why is it still worth representing the Philippines on the global stage?”

Bea's response was: “The Philippines is a place that I've been in love with my whole life. Growing up in a predominantly non-diverse part of the United States, I was identified as Filipina first and foremost. I often had to point out where the Philippines was on the map to my peers, and I always felt a sense of belonging and home. I chose to pack my life in balikbayan boxes and food cases because I believe in the limitless potential of the Filipino people and in the need to create local opportunities here so that people don't have to go abroad and be separated from their families in order to survive and thrive. If I were to be given the title of Miss Universe Philippines, I promise to be a public servant for all.”

She triumphed over six other queens in the finals: Miss Universe Philippines Sultan Kudarat Jenrose Javier, Miss Universe Philippines Cebu City Apriel Smith, Miss Universe Philippines Tarlac Marian Arellano, Miss Universe Philippines Taguig Ysabella Ysmael, Miss Universe Philippines Cebu Province Nicole Borromeo, and Miss Universe Philippines Pampanga Allyson Arceo Hetland.

The Top 7 were selected from the Top 15, which included Miss Universe Philippines Muntinlupa Adela Mae Marshall, Miss Universe Philippines Baguio Roxie Baeyens, Miss Universe Philippines Tacloban City Jacqueline Gulrajani, Miss Universe Philippines Quezon Province Patricia Ella Evangelista, Miss Universe Philippines Taguig Ysabella Ysmael, Miss Universe Philippines Camiguin Erica Cadayday, Miss Universe Philippines Manila Justine Beatrice Felizarta, Miss Universe Philippines Iloilo City Zestah Espinosa, Miss Universe Philippines Cebu City Apriel Smith, Miss Universe Philippines Pampanga Allyson Arceo Hetland, and Miss Universe Philippines Negros Occidental Alex Colmenares.

The Top 15 was chosen from the earlier announced Top 30, which included Miss Universe Philippines Albay Alexandra Krishna M. Oriño, Miss Universe Philippines Sarangani Nicole Cruz, Miss Universe Philippines Rizal Alicia Chelsea Buendia, Miss Universe Philippines Ilocos Norte Charieze Lianne Cacayorin, Miss Universe Philippines Pangasinan Donna Rein Nuguid, Miss Universe Philippines Cavite Jencel Mansala Caña, Miss Universe Philippines Mountain Province Lyneree Montero-Yodong, Miss Universe Philippines Tandag City Chrystel Correos, Miss Universe Philippines San Jose, Negros Oriental Jayka Noelle Munsayac, Miss Universe Philippines Tarlac Marian Arellano, Miss Universe Philippines Iligan City Trexy Paris Roxas, Miss Universe Philippines Cotabato Province Clarissa Westram, Miss Universe Philippines Luisiana, Laguna Ashley Montenegro, Miss Universe Philippines Samar Island Catheine Wardle, and Miss Universe Philippines Santo Tomas, La Union Rachel Hana Gozum.

Bea succeeds Ahtisa Manalo as this year's Miss Universe Philippines.
