Former Miss Universe Philippines Beatrice Luigi Gomez still continues to wield her influence for the better as she calls for donations to help out the victims of the recent flash floods in Misamis Occidental.
In her latest post on Instagram, Beatrice posted a graphic calling on her fans and followers to donate clothes, water, food, and blankets to help provide an immediate response to the victims. Beatrice also provided contact information in the caption to the post.
Of course, this is far from the first time that Beatrice has mobilized her fans and followers to aid victims of natural calamities. At the height of Typhoon Odette, Beatrice directed her followers to help independent child organization Save the Children's relief efforts.
Beatrice has also been on the ground during relief operations herself, such as when she organized one for fire victims in Mandaue and for evacuees in the Cebu International Convention Center. She has also organized one in Compostela, Cebu as part of her late Lola Yaga's birth anniversary.
Beatrice's efforts in the aftermath of Typhoon Odette were especially commendable considering that her own family was trapped in their home while Typhoon Odette battered Cebu.
