Filipino pageant fans and aficionados have another chance to push another Filipina beauty queen closer to a crown as The Miss Philippines organization has called for support for the country's Miss Charm candidate, Kayla Jean Carter.
In one of the more recent post on its official Instagram account, The Miss Philippines organization posted a graphic calling for Filipino pageant fans to vote for Miss Philippines Charm Kayla Jean Carter in the Miss Charm 2024 pageant.
In the caption to the post, the organization explained that Kayla topping the vote would mean a guaranteed spot in the top five. A top two placement will guarantee a top 10 placement, while a top three placement will guarantee a top 20 placement. As of the time of The Miss Philippines post, Kayla was in the top three spot.
Kayla Jean Carter was appointed as the country's The Miss Charm representative earlier this month, with The Miss Philippines organization calling her “one of the highest ranking delegates” eligible for the title.
“She was one of the 10 delegates who competed for 4 titles in The Miss Philippines. She was one of the highest ranking delegates who was eligible for the titles and agreed to be considered for The Miss Philippines. In the case of the Miss Charm representative, she also needed to already possess a US Visa in order to compete in the US,” the organization said.
Kayla took over for Krishnah Gravidez, who gave up her crown to compete - and win - the Miss World Philippines pageant.
Filipino pageant fans always bring their A-game when it comes to voting in beauty pageants. Last month, the Miss Universe Philippines organization called for votes for Miss and Mister Supranational representatives Alethea Ambrosio and Brandon Espiritu.
Both Alethea and Brandon would end up in the Top 10 of the Supra Fan Vote. Brandon would also eventually end up as the second runner-up in the Mister Supranational pageant.
