The Clash Season 3 grand champion Jessica Villarubin proudly showed her new look on the morning talk show Unang Hirit earlier today, March 16.

The singer appeared on the show to talk about the changes in her life before and after winning the competition in 2020.

Jessica shared that she already helped her parents with their finances by competing in different local singing contests at an early age.

“Nine po kami magkakapatid. Ako 'yung youngest. I started singing six years old so nakakatulong na 'ko sa family ko pambili ng mga pangangailangan namin, pagkain,” she said in an interview with hosts Suzi Entratra-Abrera and Lyn Ching.

Although busy with her gigs, Jessica effectively juggled work and her studies.

“Hindi po madali na sinasabay 'yung pag-aaral kasi kapag umaga antok pa.

Napakahirap talaga pero thankful din po talaga ako na natapos ko 'yung pag-aaral ko na gusto ko talagang mangyari,” she added.

Jessica's biggest plot twist in 2020 was her victory on The Clash Season 3.

This 2021, the singer is even more ready to conquer the local music scene with her enhanced physical appearance which boosted her confidence even more.

“Right now po, parang Jessica na super happy, super brave, and more confident po,” she cheerfully shared.

Aside from this, GMA Network's newest singing sensation sang her debut single titled “Ako Naman” in her comeback performance on All-Out Sundays on March 14.

“May bago po akong single ngayon. This is composed by Sir Christian Bautista titled 'Ako Naman',” she added.
