Widows' War actor Benjamin Alves is joining the “What haffen Vella” trend in his own way as he shared an old photoshoot on his official Facebook account.
In the post, Benjamin shared multiple photos from a Twilight-inspired photoshoot he did for the Students and Campuses section of the Manila Bulletin from many years ago. In the photoshoot, Benjamin portrayed Taylor Lautner's character, Jacob, while Asia's Multimedia Star Alden Richards portrayed Robert Pattinson's character, Edward. Theater actress Tippy Dos Santos portrayed Kirsten Stewart's character, Bella. In the caption to the post, Benjamin wrote “Wah haffen vela? I know, Alden rayt? Once upon a time I hated vamfyrs rayt?”
As of this writing, the post has received more than 500 reactions.
The “What haffen Vella” trend comes from Cristopher Diwata, a contestant in It's Showtime's popular segment, “Kalokalike”. Cristopher entered as a lookalike of Taylor Lautner, the actor who portrayed Jacob. It was also in “Kalokalike” where he first delivered his now iconic speech.
Aside from “Kalokalike”, Cristopher also joined Dapat Alam Mo!'s look-alike contest "Copy face" back in 2023, where he played the same character.

Since his speech started trending, Cristopher has been able to take part in a number of opportunities, such as dancing “Dungka!” with SB19. He has also met former Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition housemate Michael Sager and returned to It's Showtime!
His viral moment has also allowed Cristopher to pay off financial obligations, as he revealed in an interview with GMA News Online. He also expressed gratitude to his supporter who worry that he may not be compensated fairly for his work.
“'Yung sa mga concern, at alam ko sumusuporta kayo sa akin, salamat po. Pero sa bayad, dati nga sanay ako nang wala. Dati nga wala, ta's ngayon, meron. Kaya kahit maliit man 'yan, tatanggapin ko 'yan. Iga-grab ko 'yan kahit maliit. Sana sa mga nag-aalala sa akin, huwag niyong intindihin 'yun at mas maganda 'yung meron kaysa sa wala,” he said.
