Bela Brie Benjamin Mudie and Rich Asuncion

Benjamin Mudie is proud of his wife Rich Asuncion's perseverance as a mother, wife, and career-oriented woman.

Ika-6 Na Utos actress Rich Asuncion has started a new life in Australia with her husband, rugby player Benjamin Mudie and daughter Bela Brie.

She also shared that after months of job hunting in Australia, she finally had the opportunity to work there as a waitress.

Rich is really eager to start anew as she plans to juggle both work and studies in the foreign land.

Casual job at a restaurant.

“Wala akong karapatan mag-inarte kasi nabigyan ako panibagong chance to start anew.

Nakapag-enrol na rin ako to continue my studies and last week, I was offered a full-time job at a Daycare where I can work closely with Bela,” she shared.

Long post ahead! Casual job at a restaurant. At wala akong karapatan maginarte kasi nabigyan ako panibagong chance to start anew . My point here is, I know most of us will need to adjust to a new/different life after this pandemic. And that's not all that bad. To be able to survive through this is already a blessing. As hard as it may seem, look for the silver lining. Hold on and say I am still a champion. Be grateful because some people have lost more than you already have. 😊Nakapag-enrol na rin ako to continue my studies and last week, I was offered a full-time job at a Daycare where I can work closely with Bela. Life is indeed a journey full of highs and lows but you should never stop moving and you always keep moving forwards. P.S. Ben and I have also just put down a reservation for our future home here in Australia. What a blessing!🏡

Netizens praised the actress for her humility and perseverance and have expressed their messages of support for her.

Of course, Benjamin, who has seen all of Rich's hard work, is proud of his resilient wife.

“Taking care of Bela is already a tough job. But picking up your life and starting anew, into the unknown, is a completely new challenge on its own.

“Congrats, pangarap ko. You've been resilient and tenacious at the same time. Just going to enjoy the journey. #thenewnormal,” he said.

But according to the actress, she did not leave showbiz for good and just "making a life out here [in Australia] during these uncertain times."

Rich, together with her family, flew to Australia in February.

We now have a toddler and I can't help but get sentimental looking back through these photos. 😌 @benjmudie and I are lucky to have our families, friends especially godparents help and guide us in raising our child. Although we miss Bela being a little baby, we are definitely proud of her every milestone. 💓#belabrie #familyof3
