Celebrity mom Bettinna Carlos had a precious time with her firstborn, Gummy, as they went on a quick date.
Bettinna Carlos recently spent some quality time with her first child, Amanda Lucia, or Gummy, over good food.
In an Instagram post, the mom of four shared that she and Gummy went on a quick date, which was their first date outside of their home since she gave birth to her twin sons.
At that moment, Bettinna remembered why intentional one-on-one dates are important as “they provide quality, undisturbed time to get to know our children more, how they are, where they are in their season, what they currently like and don't like, what their fears are etc.”
Bettinna also said that she and her husband, Mikki Eduardo, regularly ask their children questions like on how they can improve as parents or whether they may have hurt them to avoid any resentment to build up.
However on their mother-daughter date, Bettinna rephrased her question by asking Gummy's feelings towards her.
“'On top of your head, what is it that you like the most about me and what do you hate about me?'
“(She said hate was such a strong word but I used it anyway to know if there is anything about me, what I say or do that she really despises- whether ever since or recent past.)
"I'm thankful because she really gave me straight answers! Hehehe Answers that allow me to adjust as a mom to her at her age. Answers that enable me to support her more, guide her better,” she wrote.
Before ending her post, Bettinna said she enjoyed her time with her firstborn and is thankful for their close relationship.
“I'm so thankful that at 15, I still have my daughter's heart, even with all my mistakes and shortcomings as a first-time mom to her, she still opens up. I know she still lets me in…” she added.
Bettinna Carlos and Mikki Eduardo tied the knot in December 2020.

Gummy is Bettina's daughter from a previous relationship. In December 2022, the former actress shared that Mikki legally adopted her eldest child.
Bettina and Mikki also have a daughter named Amina, who was born in 2022.
