Bettinna Carlos is thankful for being part of Idol sa Kusina who is recognized not only in the Philippines but also by the international award-giving bodies.
'Idol sa Kusina' at Chef Boy Logro, nakatanggap ng local at international awards
Recently, Idol sa Kusina was awarded with Certificate for Creative Excellence from the US International Film and Video Festival and Excellence Award for Cooking Program from Kung-Gihan Awards 2016 of the Lyceum of the Philippines University–Laguna.
According to Bettinna, "We feel very blessed actually and very humbled by the recognition kasi the show has been airing for more than six years na and for us to be recognized by the international scene also is something."
More than anything else, Bettinna is proud that they serve as an inspiration to people.
She said, "It speaks a lot about what our show is able to provide our viewers 'di ba? I guess more than it being a food show or a cooking show, siguro we are able to provide inspiration also to everyone not just to Filipinos."
Chef Boy Logro who was named as Most Influential Chef of Kung-Gihan Awards of 2016 from Lyceum University-Laguna was also influential not only to Filipinos but also to different nationalities.
"Si Chef Boy he makes kuwento kapag nasa airport siya even mga foreigners nakakasabay niya nari-recognize siya. So may recall talaga. It was really a privilege and proud kaming mga Filipino and for it to come from our home network," Bettinna concluded.
