Bianca Gonzalez and Gabbi Garcia condemn Rep. Bong Suntay's "nag-init" remark upon allegedly seeing Anne Curtis.

Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition hosts Bianca Gonzalez and Gabbi Garcia share reactions to recent controversial remarks made by Quezon City 4th District Rep. Bong Suntay.

On X, both celebrities slammed the public servant's statements linked to It's Showtime host Anne Curtis.

"Please let us NOT NORMALIZE THIS BEHAVIOR. DISGUSTING, especially for a public servant," Bianca firmly wrote.

"The fact that there is no remorse, no clue as to why what he said was offensive and inappropriate, and even commented in an interview that 'she should take my remark as a compliment' is what makes this disgusting comment even more disgusting."

Gabbi also condemned the remarks, speaking out as a woman herself.

"If you hold power, act like it. Objectifying women, even in passing remarks is unacceptable. We are not here to be reduced to someone's imagination. NAKAKADIRI," she said.

Suntay's statement sparked discussion after he recounted allegedly seeing Anne Curtis at a mall and said he merely imagined what could happen.

Following his remarks, San Juan representative Bel Zamora moved to have the statement stricken from the record. However, Suntay maintained that there was no sexual connotation in his statement and insisted it was not immoral.

Meanwhile, Anne's sister, Jasmine Curtis-Smith, reacted to the issue.

She said, "This moment is not about one female celebrity. It is about how ALL WOMEN, regardless of profession, continue to be reduced to bodies in spaces dominated by men in power."

She also stressed, "Respect is not complicated. If we want safer environments for our daughters, nieces, and future leaders, accountability must begin with those elected to represent us."
