Congratulations, mga Kapuso!
Kapuso stars were recognized at the 67th edition of the Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS) Awards held last night, April 28 at the Meralco Theater.
Sahaya star Bianca Umali, multi-awarded DZBB radio anchor Ali Sotto and distinguished actress and director Laurice Guillen are part of the awardees in this prestigious event.
Ali was chosen to receive the Dr. Jose R. Perez Memorial Award. In her Instagram post, the actress/broadcaster thanked FAMAS for this recognition.
She posted, “Salamat FAMAS for the singular honor of having been given the DR JOSE R PEREZ MEMORIAL AWARD for Journalism. Women Empowerment ang tema ngayong taon.”
Meanwhile, Kapuso actress Bianca Umali bagged the German Moreno Memorial Youth Achievement Award.
In addition, former 'Ika-6 Na Utos' director Laurice Guillen was recognized for her craft and was among the three awardees of the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Her two daughters, actresses Ina and Ana Feleo, took to social media to congratulate their mom on her latest feat.
