Pageant fans who still need a reason to buy tickets to the Miss World Philippines coronation night are getting two new reasons to do so as the organization has announced the hosts for the upcoming event.
In one of the more recent posts on her Instagram account, the Miss World Philippines organization announced that The Voice Generations coach Billy Crawford and Universal Woman 2024 Maria Gigante would be the hosts for the pageant's coronation night on July 19, 8 p.m. at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
The announcement comes after the organization named the 12 finalists for its beach beauty competition. The finalists are Miss Kapitolyo, Pasig City Riana Agatha Pangindian, Miss Manila Gabrielle Lantzer, Miss Baguio City Krishnah Marie Gravidez, Miss Pampanga Sophia Bianca Santos, Miss Bicol Region Isabelle Bilasano, Miss Tarlca Province Jasmine Omay, Miss Cavite Dia Maté, Miss Pangasinan Nikki Buenafe, Miss Cebu Sofi Maxim Margareta Grenmo, Miss Batangas Bianca Tapia, and Miss Iloilo City Arrieana Beron.
Miss Baguio City Krishnah Marie Gravidez, Miss Cavite Dia Maté, and Miss Batangas Bianca Tapia are all Miss Universe Philippines alumna, with Krishnah even giving up her Miss Charm Philippines to compete in the pageant.
The beach beauty competition was announced back in June 11. In the caption to the post, the organization said that audiences will see the candidates “showcase their elegance and charm against the breathtaking backdrop of Boracay.”
The beach beauty challenge is just the latest activity that the Miss World Philippines delegates have taken part in as they work their way toward the crown, which the Miss World Philippines organization has teased would be a new one.
This year's candidates were also recently presented to the press at Seda Manila Bay's Grand Ballroom.
