Korean stars Jennie Kim of girl group BLACKPINK and BTS member V have been swept up in dating rumors, setting the internet ablaze.

Recently, a photo allegedly taken on Jeju Island featuring a man and a woman in a car resembling Jennie and V spread like wildfire among online communities, further fueling rumors that the two were Jennie and V on a secret date.

Jennie's agency YG Entertainment briefly commented on the issue, “We have nothing to say [regarding this matter],” and added, “We will inform you if we have a different response to share.”

Back in December 2021, members of BTS launched their own personal Instagram accounts. Fans were quick to notice V followed then unfollowed Jennie's account.

V quickly took to the fan-community platform Weverse to explain that Jennie's name appeared on his recommendations page and he accidentally followed her. He also jokingly mentioned that Instagram is a "scary" app.

In February 2021, rumors broke out that Jennie is dating fellow YG Entertainment artist G-Dragon, member of BIG BANG. However, their agency remained neutral regarding the issue and said, "We cannot validate anything. We cannot confirm anything about our artists' private lives. Thank you for your understanding."

The two were shipped by fans believing they were in a relationship, but the rumored relationship has allegedly ended. Fans came to this conclusion when they noticed G-Dragon unfollowed Jennie on his private Instagram account while still following other BLACKPINK members.

As for Jennie and V's current relationship rumors, fans are torn especially because things remain unclear to this day.

V's agency BIGHIT MUSIC has not issued any statement yet regarding the rumors.
