
BLACKPINK's Jennie Kim has just signed with Columbia Records as a solo artist.
Jennie is signed as a solo artist in collaboration with her record label and entertainment company, Odd Atelier.
The K-pop star is expected to release a single under Columbia Records this October.
On Instagram, Columbia Records dropped a post showing a photo of Jennie and captioned it, "We are family."
Earlier this year, Jennie dropped a pair of collaborative singles: “SPOT!” with ZICO and “Slow Motion” with Matt Champion.
In 2023, Jennie appeared in the controversial HBO series The Idol. She also collaborated with co-stars The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp for the song "One of the Girls."
Jennie first debuted in the music industry as one of the members of BLACKPINK, composed of Jennie, Lisa Manoban, Jisoo Kim, and Rosé Park.
