Former Miss Universe 1999 first runner-up Miriam Quiambao made sure that her father's birthday celebration would be a great one by surprising him on his special day.
Miriam and her husband Ardy Roberto are now based in Boracay, but she wanted to be with her daddy and even booked a flight back to Manila to spend time with him.
In her Instagram post, the former beauty queen shared that it was good that she checked her dad's schedule before flying or her plan would become a total failure.
The celebrity mom recalled, “This was how I wanted to surprise my Dad for his birthday so I booked a flight to Manila to show up at his place today with a birthday cake!”
“Good thing just before I boarded my flight to Manila, I decided to text him to ask him of his plans for his birthday,” she added. “His reply, “I am thinking of a whole day out of town photoshoot of wildlife.”
Miriam continued, “Buti na lang pala, nagtanong ako. Kung hindi, ako ang maso-surprise.“
She also wished her daddy a long life on his birthday. “So, we ended up having unlimited Japanese teppanyaki lunch together yesterday and I had the privilege to pray for him before heading off to the airport to come back to my babies in Boradise.”
“Again, HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY and May God bless you with good health, purpose, joy and a long life!”
Last February, Miriam confirmed that her family would be moving to the popular island paradise.
She has two kids with non-showbiz husband Ardy Roberto. They have a son named Elijah, who was born on February 16, 2019, while she gave birth to Ezekiel Isaiah “Ziki” Quiambao-Roberto in July 2021.
Miriam also has a stepson named Joshua, Ardy's son from his previous marriage with the late Tingting Roberto.
