King of Talk and Fast Talk show host Boy Abunda has already interviewed countless celebrities, both internationally and locally. With the numerous interviewee he had over the years, he shares that his favorite celebrity interviewees were Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Lopez.

In an episode of the GMA Pinoy TV digital talk show Break Seven, Boy was asked who his favorite personality interviewee was to which he answered, “First person that comes to mind is Angelina Jolie.”

“When I went to Japan for an interview with Angelina Jolie, this was in September of 2019, everyone is afraid of Angelina Jolie. Ako din naman pero ang ginawa ko, binihisan ko siya,” he said.

He then shared what he did to get the star to speak freely during interviews, “I was wearing trench coats so every time we bump into each other, 'Nice, nice trench. Where'd you get that?'” he said.

He also recalled, “And then I went to my first interview with her, I made sure I was wearing a new pair of Loius Vuittons na 'That's lovely.' We started to talk about shoes. So 'yun yon, kanya-kanyang technique. And nung nag-soften siya, I was able to ask a lot of questions.

Aside from Angelina, the King of Talk also mentioned Jennifer Lopez.

“Tatlong beses ko nang nakakapanayam si Jennifer Lopez, she's very warm,” he added.

Despite the numerous celebrities he has interviewed, does Boy still have someone in mind he wants to put on a hot seat? The host was quick to give the names of Barbara Walters, Oprah Winfrey, and Hilary Clinton.

Boy revealed that he wrote letters to the three personalities, introducing himself and asking if they can be interviewed.

“Bakit ko ginawa iyon? Kasi, when Oprah was starting, she also wrote a letter to the great Maya Angelou, Sinabi niya, 'Can I interview you for five minutes?' Sumulat din siya, 'I just need five minutes of your time, may I do an interview with you?' pinagbigyan siya,” he said.

While his letter to Oprah was returned, Boy mentioned that he did not receive any response from Barbara. However, he understood that she might not be able to do an interview now because of her health conditions.

How about Hilary?

“Si Hilary answered me, 'Dear Boy, I would love to do an interview with you, but I'm hoping to be able to do this during Fall or Spring,' Hindi lang natuloy, pero meron sulat si Hilary Clinton sa akin na pumapayag,” he added.
