An article by Soompi shared the English translation of J-hope's short speech, where he expressed his gratitude to the fans and shared a bit about his year-and-a-half experience in the military.
“First of all, thank you so much. I completed my service in good health. I'm really grateful,” he said.
J-hope is the second member of BTS to be discharged from the military, following Jin's in June 2024.
The rest of BTS are still fulfilling their mandatory military services.
The group is set to reconvene in 2025.
