"This goodbye is just a goodbye for a little while! When I return, I will say hello again as I greet you," said BTS RM in a message for ARMYs.

Kim Namjoon, a.k.a RM of BTS penned an emotional farewell letter for his and thr group's fans, ARMYs, ahead of his military enlistment on his Instagram account.

In an article by a Korean entertainment website, Soompi, they translated the K-pop artist's Instagram Story saying his goodbyes to the fans and expressing his emotions about the upcoming enlistment.

RM enlisted along with his co-member Kim Taehyung or popularly known as V this December 11, followed by other BTS members Park Jimin and Jeon Jungkook on December 12.

Meanwhile, three members of the boy group are already in service namely Jin, J-Hope, and Suga, who enlisted in public service due to his shoulder injury.

BTS also renewed their exclusive contracts with their agency, Big Hit Music last September, indicating that the Korean group will surely be back in 2025 after the members complete their mandatory military service.

Before going on hiatus, the seven global artists launched their solo careers starting in 2022 and made other projects like the upcoming docuseries BTS Monuments: Beyond The Star, which will be released on Disney+ this December 20.
