Jimin's newest single is truly freeing.
Jimin of the Korean supergroup BTS finally dropped his much-awaited solo single, “Set Me Free Pt. 2,” which will be part of his upcoming solo album.
The vocalist-dancer released the single on Friday, along with a music video that showcased captivating and intense choreography.
As the title suggests, the lyrics of the hip-hop track focused on breaking free from everything that is holding someone back.
It also featured a rap verse from Jimin, much to the delight of ARMYs.
Jimin is set to release his first solo album, FACE, on March 24 at 1 p.m. KST (12 p.m. in Manila).
In an earlier announcement, the group's label BigHit Music said the album is about Jimin “facing himself head-on as he gets ready for his next step as a solo artist.”
Jimin is the fourth BTS member to release his solo project, following J-hope's Jack in the Box, Jin's “The Astronaut,” and RM's Indigo.
Meanwhile, Jimin was recently introduced as the newest ambassador for luxury brands, Tiffany and Co. and Dior.
He will also serve as the cover of the upcoming issue of Vogue Korea in April.
