Despite being currently single, Runningman PH cast and vlogger Buboy Villar says that it's more important to love yourself first.

In an interview on Kalurks, Buboy admitted that while he has a crush on Jelai Andres, he won't court her saying that he is prioritizing himself first.

“Mas pina-priority ko 'yung sarili ko ngayon, parang self-love,” he added.

He also said that you need to first fill yourself with love before you're ready to love others.

“Punuin mo 'yung sarili mo ng pagmamahal. Nag-uumapaw na pagmamahal para sa sarili mo. Para yung nag-uumapaw, yun na yung para sa family mo, sa mga anak mo, friends,” he added.

Buboy and Jelai first met and started their friendship when they starred in the romantic comedy series Owe My Love which aired in 2021. Since then, the two friends starred in several YouTube vlogs together on their own respective channels.

When asked what he liked about the famous vlogger, Buboy admitted that she's kind and is a good listener, adding that being kind is easy, but going through with it is hard, which he admits is something Jelai could do.

“Pangalawa, totoo siyang tao. Kumbaga kasunod na yung kabaitan,” he said, adding that she makes him smile.

Buboy admitted, however, that even if his ex-partner Angillyn Goren asks about his love life now, his answer would be none other than their kids.

Buboy and Jelai starred in a number of vlogs which include pranks and challenges. In one of their videos, Jelai gave Buboy an expensive gift for his 24th birthday and the actor-comedienne could not believe his eyes.

He even said that while he doesn't need the most expensive items and that the most important for him are his friends, it was Jeali who gave him both and thanked her for the gift.
