Despite being away from his kids, Running Man PH cast member Buboy Villar says that all the sacrifices he made are for his children and that he wanted them to know that he's there to support them.

In an interview, Buboy admitted that while he's thankful for the social media platforms available so that he can speak to his kids, it still hits differently if he's with them personally.

“Iba pa rin yung pakiramdam. Yung maaamoy mo yung anak mo, mayayakap mo,” he added.

He and Angillyn Gorens, the mom of his kids, separated after 4 years and their kids are currently with her in the US. He also said that they understand how they, as parents, need to go through the sacrifices they've gone through.

He also revealed that while he doesn't want his kids to experience the same things he did, which includes being a “mangangalakal,” he doesn't want them looking down on the job.

“Kanya-kanya tayong hassle sa buhay,” he said, adding that he would tell them his experiences.

“May mga goal tayo as a parent. Ayoko sila maghirap,” he continued.

He added that even if he's away, he wanted their kids to know that he's there to support them and expressed how much he loves them.

“Gusto ko lang nakikita ko sila, kung ano 'yung mga gusto nila,” he added.

He also admitted that he is working hard to achieve his dreams because he doesn't want to have to ask his kids for financial help someday.

“Gusto ko, meron din ako para sa 'kin, meron ako para sa kanila, mas marami,” he added.

In a separate interview, Buboy also thanked Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera for being a great help in his career as an actor. Buboy revealed how he got his big break in the fantasy series Dyesebel which Marian starred in, and had asked to have Buboy co-star in her other shows ever since.
