The lead stars of You're My Favorite Song, Caprice Cayetano and Clifford, popularly known as 'CapFord' shared some exclusive teasers with GMANetwork.com regarding the development and dynamics of their characters, Angel and Calix, in the upcoming series.

Before diving into their on-screen relationship, Caprice Cayetano first reflected on her real-life bond with her co-star and fellow former housemate from PBB Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0. She described their connection as pure and genuine, a solid bond that naturally blossomed from the friendship they forged inside the iconic house.

“Siguro po rito; pure lang po and genuine lang po, kasi magkaibigan na po talaga kami, lalo lang po kaming naging close doon po sa loob ng Bahay ni Kuya. Very happy and genuine lang po,” Caprice shared.

When describing their roles, Caprice noted that the dynamics between Angel and Calix can be compared to typical K-drama storylines, where the two main leads start off on the wrong foot with a lot of friction.

She also built up excitement among her followers and fans, teasing that they will be pleasantly surprised by the upcoming twists and turns in their series on GMA Afternoon Prime.

“Dito naman po para pong K-drama, kasi dito naman po medyo hindi po kami magkasundo ni Calix and si Angel,” she said.

“I'm sure po na masusurprise po sila, s'yempre doon po sa Bahay ni Kuya close po kami, paano naman po kaya ang magiging dynamics ni Calix at Angel dito. 'Yun po 'yung dapat nilang abangan,” she continued.

On the other hand, Clifford shared insights regarding the initial plotline of their characters, revealing that they will start off as academic rivals in school, which is set to add tension and intensity to the story's progression.

The young Kapuso actor also dropped a few subtle teasers about where the journey of his and Caprice's characters might ultimately lead as the series unfolds.

“Kagaya po ng sinabi ni Caprice, iba po 'yung makikita niyo when it comes to Angel and Calix kasi silang dalawa academic rivals so parang natatalunan sila and at the same time, 'yung scenes po talaga medyo intense,” Clifford shared.

“Siguro, in the future, makikita niyo kung saan talaga patungo 'yung samahan nila. Gano'n lang ba talaga sila? Kung enemies lang talaga sila or may mapupuntahan pa 'yon?” he added.
