Carla Abellana commented on Kevin's achievement at school saying, “Galing! Galing!”

The two worked together in the hit Kapuso sitcom Ismol Family in 2014. Carla Abellana played Majay, the wife of Jingo Ismol portrayed by Ryan Agoncillo.

Meanwhile, Kevin was tapped to portray the role of Lance, the young boyfriend of Mama A (Carmi Martin).
