Former DIVA star Carlo Aquino quickly defended Dubsmash Queen of the Philippines Maine Mendoza against the malicious comments of an Internet troll.
Recently, the two made headlines after Maine was spotted taking a selfie with the actor in the special movie screening of the movie Meet Me in St. Gallen last February 7.

Carlo confirmed via Twitter that the screen grab of an exchange of messages tweeted by netizen @ZCargel are authentic.
He stressed that he wanted the basher to stop posting negative comments against Maine Mendoza on his feed.
Carlo Aquino played Joe in the Kapuso drama musical DIVA starring Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, Glaiza de Castro, and Mark Anthony Fernandez in 2010.
He also did other projects with GMA-7 like Sinasamba Kita, Maging Akin Ka Lamang, Dapat Ka Bang Mahalin? and Tinik Sa Dibdid.
