Cassy Legaspi, Rain Matienzo, and Karenina Haniel joined the other celebrities in celebrating self-love by opening up about their personal journeys.
For Cassy, loving herself means being true and honest to herself.
She writes, “Closing this month by sharing that I've discovered that I am my happiest when I am truly my most authentic self. This is me at peace: when I am by the beach wearing whatever I want, my hair fixed the way I want, and being around the people I truly love.
"I feel the most beautiful when I'm in my element, when I am at peace with myself and my flaws. Don't be afraid to seek what makes you feel like your most authentic self. Be proud of who you are inside out.”
Similar to the First Yaya star, Rain believes that she practices self-love best when she embraces every part of her, all her imperfections included.
She shares, “By the time I heard the phrase, “your skin carries memory of where it's been” I decided to become bolder in accepting my external flaws. Change what you can't accept and accept what you can't change. Challenging all wonderful women to post your bare faced & unfiltered selfies. Spreading love and encouragement this International Women's Month!”
Karenina, meanwhile, posts a photo of her au naturel to echo the same message about self-love.
She says, “'Self-love is real love.' I love myself just the way I am.”
Other Kapuso stars like Sanya Lopez, Bianca Umali, Kyline Alcantara, Sofia Pablo, and Althea Ablan have also lent their voice in promoting self-love.
