After conquering the Miss Universe Philippines pageant, Fil-Italian beauty queen-model Celeste Cortesi is embracing an exciting change happening in her life. On July 20, Cortesi signed with Sparkle GMA Artist Center at the GMA Network Center in Quezon City.
Witnessing the special event are Senior Vice President for Programming, Talent Management, Worldwide and Support Group, and President and CEO of GMA Films Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes, Sparkle GMA Artist Center Vice President Joy Marcelo, and Senior Talent Manager Ms. Tracy Garcia.
During her quick chat with GMANetwork.com after the contract signing, Celeste stated that she has been waiting for this moment for a long-time.
She explained, “I'm just so happy and excited because I've been waiting for this moment for a long-time. And you know the GMA family has been so welcoming with me. So, I'm just excited to work with them.”
Meanwhile, GMA-7 big boss Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes thinks that Celeste is a great addition to Sparkle's current crop of phenomenal beauty queens.
“We are very happy kasi alam mo naman marami na tayong beauty queen sa Sparkle. Nadagdagan pa ng isa pa sa pinaka magagandang mukha. So, we are very excited to have her... She will undergo a lot of training and sana makita n'yo na siya soon sa mga GMA shows,” said Atty. Gozon.
Back in May 2023, Celeste passed the Miss Universe Philippines crown to her successor fellow Kapuso star Michelle Dee.
