Pinoy Big Brother housemates Charlie Fleming and Shuvee Etrata had nothing but kind words about working with their lead star in The Master Cutter, none other than Dingdong Dantes.

The two Sparkle talents were special guests on the Holy Monday (March 30) episode of Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, where they promoted their GMA Prime series alongside the award-winning Kapuso actor.

Shuvee told Tito Boy that she felt intimidated upon seeing Kuya Dingdong on set. The morena beauty explained, “Kasi Tito Boy, sobrang crush ko dito si Atoy, which is played by Kuya Dingdong Dantes. At first, I was always intimidated sa set with him. Pero, oh my gosh Tito Boy, sobrang bait ni Kuya Dong.”

“He made sure na comfortable kami. Ivi-visit niya kami sa tent namin to make sure na okay kami, nagdadala ng pagkain.”

Charlie, who fondly calls Dingdong “Kuys” (Gen Z slang for “Kuya”), told Fast Talk that working with the A-list actor is a breeze.

She shared, “So, naging relationship po talaga namin on the set is that he is very Kuya po talaga. Just like sa character ko po with him, very Kuya po 'yung dynamics namin kasi magkabarangay lang po kami.

“So, lumaki kami sa barangay with him. He was like my kuya growing up, 'cause my mom kinda works for him—parang ganun 'yung setup namin.”

The Master Cutter will soon air on the primetime block of GMA-7 beginning this May.
