Charlie Fleming: “I love to say na Miss Rio has been one of my inspirations.”
Sparkle star Charlie Fleming is drawing lots of inspiration with her co-actor in The Master Cutter, the one and only Miss Rio Locsin.
Charlie portrays Karla, the daughter of Manang Cita played by Miss Rio in the GMA Prime series.
During her exclusive interview with 24 Oras, the former Pinoy Big Brother housemate shared what it is like working with a seasoned actress.
“I love to say na Miss Rio has been one of my inspirations, because she is such a dedicated person especially in acting,” Charlie told “Chika Minute.”
“Sometimes our script sent late of course it's a normal thing but she really has the dedication to write the script down. So that the next day we have it and the next day everything flows easily,” she added.
Aside from the resounding success of The Master Cutter on primetime, Charlie, together with Max Collins and Shuvee Etrata, got featured in the July digital cover of Mega Magazine.
Sharing the message of women empowerment, Shuvee explained to 24 Oras that she wants ladies to learn and be motivated with her go-getter attitude.
“Walang inuurungan lahat G! Ano gusto mo sige laban natin yan. Yan 'yung goal ng career ko is to be able to become a better actor. Kasi, nandun pa tayo sa lahat tatanggapin natin.”
Meanwhile, Max Collins stressed that her goal in her career is not to be perfect, but to give her 100 percent in everything she does.
Wanting to inspire other girls with her showbiz journey, Max said, “Kailangan patient ka, you have to really love what you are doing. Throughout the years I've learned that I'll never be perfect but if I know that I gave my best then that's enough. And that's why I'm still here because every day I show up and I give it my 100 percent.”
