Chito Miranda bonds with Anne Curtis in a jamming session!
Another heartwarming celebrity moment delighted fans as Chito Miranda recently shared a fun duet with Anne Curtis.
On Instagram, the Parokya ni Edgar vocalist posted a candid video of the two enjoying Angel Locsin's birthday celebration. The pair was spotted singing the band's hit song "Halaga" and exchanging jokes from time to time with the crowd.
Alongside the video, Chito penned a heartfelt message for his longtime friend.
"Matagal ko nang kilala si Anne...siguro mga almost 20 years na din. Ever since, 'Pare' 'yung tawag ko sa kanya kasi para siyang 'one of the boys' and ang gaan-gaan niya lang kasama," he wrote.
He also reminisced about their younger years, when they would frequently hang out with friends at home or at bars until the early hours of the morning.
"Nung tumanda na kami, syempre 'di na masyado. Once every few years nalang siguro kami magkita, 'pag may mga special occasion (tulad ng recent bday ni Angel), and 'yung mga usapan namin tungkol na sa buhay may-asawa at pamilya," he shared.
Despite seeing each other less often, Chito noted that the It's Showtime host has remained the same.
"Pero ang hindi nagbago is kung gaano siya kabait at kung gaano siya simple at down-to-earth," the rockstar added.
The celebration also turned out to be a special moment for Chito's wife, Neri Naig, who is a longtime fan of the actress-host. According to Chito, it was a dream come true for her to finally spend time with Anne in person.
"Matagal ko nang naku-kwento kay Neri kung gaano siya kabait kasi super fan siya ni Anne...pero na-amaze pa rin siya kung gaano ka-warm and ka-accommodating si Anne. Perfect nga daw si Anne, sabi ng asawa ko," he said.
"Sabi ng iba, 'never meet your heroes', but I'm glad Neri met one of hers. Sobrang tuwang-tuwa talaga siya. Anyway, eto yung jam namin last Sunday na kuha sa phone ni Neri. Sorry wasak na wasak na ko nyan."
Neri also shared her own moments from the party on Instagram, including a video of Anne singing "Torn" by Natalie Imbruglia. She later had a lighthearted exchange with Anne, joking about how she was asked to caption the clip.
"Dapat daw pag pinost, sabihin na magaling daw syang kumanta. Pero ang ganda naman talaga ng pagkakakanta nya," Neri captioned.
"Thank you Neri Miranda. Ayan nga 'yung caption hahahahaha so much fun," Anne replied.
The gathering comes after recent family bonding moments shared by the Miranda family, with Chito posting photos and videos of their staycations and simple activities together.
He also greeted Angel Locsin on her birthday online with their memorable photos.
Meanwhile, Anne continues to juggle her projects both locally and internationally. She remains one of the hosts of It's Showtime, airing from Monday to Saturday, 12 noon, on GMA and Kapuso Stream.
