'IBilib' host Chris Tiu is back to represent the country in the 2018 Asian Games

In his Instagram post, the PBA cager shared his thoughts when he joined the rest of the Philippines men's national basketball team during the opening ceremony at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium in Jakarta.

Chris said, “Honored and proud to be representing the country in basketball with this group of guys! So many events had to transpire and conspire for the team and for each of us to be here. Very grateful to the Lord for this opportunity and thank you to the determined people who've been working behind the scenes to make this possible.”

Despite the tough assignments ahead before winning the elusive gold medal, he asks every Filipino to pray and support them in their games.

“We have gigantic assignments ahead of us so we will give our very best! Thank you for your prayers and support! Let's also support our other athletes ️🇵🇭”
