Kapuso actress and TV host Chynna Ortaleza shared with GMANetwork.com what she thinks her late father Gryk Ortaleza's greatest 'pamana' is.

According to Chynna, it was her father who fostered her love for literature.

“That's probably what I miss most about my father. He just gets what I need. And he'd course it through a book.”

“He would give me two to three books a year to read. And he would actually write on the books.”

“I'm happy that I never disregarded any of those books because I kept them all. So those are his greatest 'pamana' for me, in terms of material ha.”

And since Father's Day is fast approaching, GMANetwork.com asked Chynna what she would tell her father if she had a chance to talk to him.

“I'm thankful na when my father was alive I was able to thank him, say everything that I needed to say, and also say 'I love you' to him before he passed.”

“If ever now, I'd just like to say 'How are you doing? How is it up there? How's life treating you there? What are you creating up there?'”

“And maybe I'd tell him not to worry about my mom or our family 'cause we're coping well.”
