Actress and celebrity mom Claudine Barretto took to social media to reassure the public following her earlier claims involving the alleged kidnapping of her children.
In a recent post, Claudine shared a photo of her children—Sabina, Quia, and Noah—smiling during a video call. She captioned the image, “Safe and sound.”
The post followed a series of now-deleted social media posts and a livestream in which Claudine accused her former personal assistant, Ma. Solita “Marisol” Acap, of allegedly taking her children without consent.
During the livestream on January 24, Claudine claimed that the PA was aided by several individuals she described as “fans,” whom she alleged were involved in taking her children and attempting to extort money from her supporters.
"This is not a joke," Claudine firmly said. "This is very serious. Marisol, ibalik mo ang mga anak ko dito, kanina ka pa dapat nasa Katipunan [Quezon City]. Inaantay ka na ng NBI dito."
She added, "And you, you know who you are, hindi ka talaga titigil hangga't hindi mo ako mabaliw o mapatay. Nanay ako ng mga anak mo! If anything happens to me, especially sa fiesta ng GenSan, alam niyo na po, dalawang tao lang ang gumagalaw."
Aside from the livestream, Claudine shared a post from her daughter, Sabina, in which the latter appealed for Marisol to surrender following the alleged incident.
Claudine also posted a promissory note dated 2023, signed by the former personal assistant, and indicated a commitment to pay PhP5,000,000.
